THE KGB SUPREME COURT - Conduct Feedback Report
This form is used for the for reporting inappropriate conduct directly witnessed by you of a representative of the KGB Organization. All reports will be reviewed and you will receive a response. The KGB has a special law enforcement and judicial body that reviews and punishes KGB members that poorly represent the Guild or violate the code. All citizens are urged to take part in this program. If KGB is not performing its duty, we want to know about it.

Siege Perilous:

Some time has passed since the house and stone were placed. Members have been recruiting left and right for new members who wish to join the fight against evil and all things that are lameth. Warlord Vuldan Ironhand has taken on the task of revamping the military. Operations for training and hunts have began and so far, we have come up against some very formidable opponents. As we try to hunt down the evils of the land, we also have a store to run and Holden has done excellent work in making the store a success so far, with mentions to JetStar and General Kiki for slaving...and everyone else who has contributed to the store. I am looking forward to many adventures on Siege and the KGB will grow strong here.

Pacific:

The members loyal to Pacific have been fighting bravely and been rather successful. The Pacific Military is on the upswing and accepting some very talented members. There are no worries that the KGBPDF will be a force once again under the excellent command of 5-star General Darius. Since this is our home shard, we did not and will not leave it in chaos. Justice will be served."

CKGB:

The CKGB General store is now the Oasis Tavern and General Store. CKGB Minister Holden has re-modeled the entire tower complete with Jousting-Deuling arena on the roof (compliments of Peregrinator). Holden is working on getting the gods of Britannia to bless the tower. In the meantime stop by and sign the guestbook..."

KGB Sentinel News Updates

The Power of Perseverance: KGB Siege Perilous
The road to success on the Siege Perilous Shard

The move to Siege Perilous was a hard and arduous task for so many of KGB. But the move became reality. The austere conditions of the shard, the forced dependence upon ones fellow’s, be they friend or guild. It becomes readily apparent to anyone setting foot into the land of SP for the first time that life, as they knew it in UO just ceased.

KGB, strong in its beliefs, yet withered in number from various strife found themselves torn. Many members simply did not want to make the move to Pacific and many members moved out of a sense of loyalty. Quickly we found ourselves behind the power curve, as small in number, we were forced to attempt to keep pace with guilds whom had transferred in from other shards with numbers in the hundreds. Yet, perseverance and the keen nature of our members allowed us to prevail.

Following a disastrous liaison with a new member who was a GM smith and whom left our hopes shattered in his betrayal, the remaining KGB, rallied stoutly by now GSS Minister Khail, rose to the occasion with flying colors. First, funds for a boat were obtained through fierce, dogged determination and numerous visits to the now familiar healers of Sosaria. Next came the almost insurmountable attempt to gain funds to purchase not only a house, but stone as well, to secure the mighty designation KGB, lest some lamer group steals it from under us. Working almost exclusively in secrecy, Minister Khail, along with Knights Raekwon and Afar obtained the funds necessary to purchase the house and stone, calling for a special meeting were the deeds were formally presented to GM JetStar.

In the mean time, work diligently progressed on our Guild Smith, named appropriately “the KGB”. This moniker was picked by none other than our own Lord Caustic and a damn fine name choice it was. Work progressed throughout the guild, with numerous members spending countless hours mining the ore of the land and transporting it to the forges to be turned into the ingots of wealth. Minister Khail and Treasurer Raist spent countless more hours, in the end almost exclusively, with some help from other members, and at last, the GM Smith was born. All across the land you with find weapons, finely crafted by none other than the KGB! A stroke of genius Lord Caustic and kudos on the name choice.

Back at home on Pacific, the war with OPP raged. Loyal members, endeared to Pacific continue the fight under newly appointed 4 star general Darius, Pacific Defense Forces commander.

Back in SP, a new Warlord was appointed, and given the daunting task of rebuilding and restructuring the military of the KGB. Never to be under estimated, the military arm of the greatest guild in the history of
UO will rise again, triumphant, stronger than ever, more organized to meet the unique and challenging threat, which is SEIGE PERILOUS! In the words of the new Warlord….Non Sibi Sed Omnibus….Not for one, but for all! Long live KGB, the Knights of Glory and Beer!

KGB Focuses on Siege Perilous
KGB's OPP conflict takes a back seat to SP efforts

Siege Perilous is the new challenge of Ultima Online, and you know KGB will be there to take on the challenge. The best of the best Goods and Evils from all shards have gathered here to see who is boss. Pacific's Existance by Proxy says it best:

"As things are, the shard needs organized guilds to go out and hunt down murderers. Soon many guilds will be going red/pk- frankly, it seems almost every big guild is going PK soon. My professional guess is we are about 2 weeks from D-Day. Most well-organized guilds have only 1 or 2 token murderers, the rest being blue while they are working on skills/housing/magery. This will change real soon. What can Jetstar the ultra GM organizer and planner do-- meaning re-creating old days KGB circe February '98. These days I'm mostly on my own hunting down pks between vesper and yew, down to the Britain xcrossroads. In time I may make my own guild, but it will be very small and require super-high PvP skill/faster computer/connection. We need old time KGB to bring on the huge organized armies to beat down the massive regional control by pk guilds that is around the corner.

Anyone who is on the fence of coming to Siege- it is a blast. Siege captures the basic raw excitement UO use to be have back in September '97. You can see what kind of stats/skill you can get after about 3 weeks of play. My character has zero macroing. I only decided a week or so ago to not do magery at all but instead mace/parrying (thus low skills- haven't worked them too hard yet)- basically, pure warrior. Greater heal/heal wands and potions will be used in a pinch for healing. 100 parrying/100 resist will be achievable thanks to RoT skill sytem. Healing/anatomy is an awesome combination in a group since you can heal others in 5 seconds, up to 80 points with 100/100."

In defeat after defeat, OPP House/Ban fighters claim they are not losing. Even while employing lame House/Ban tactics, OPP has suffered 28 documented (Screen shot verified) loses in the first 36 hours of battle. KGB will continue it's relentless assaults until the OPP is totally demoralized and surrenders. OPP Members have already resorted to resigning from their GuildStone to avoid the KGB onslaught.

A desperate Jackal () resorts to a weak attempt to slander the KGB GuildMaster. In a post on the KGB Public Forum, OPP's Jackal shows his weak and cowardice tactics.

"The problem i come to is this, KGB sucessfully killed 2 OPP members last night in a huge gang rape(which doesn't suprize me or anyone else). Between the KGB CSE SOD and other allies our 4 men couldn't kill the 15 KGB because the large hordes of healers. Actually when Jetstar got ebolted he recalled and came back after a few minutes so scared to save his insignificant life. The part you left out was the pre and post fight, be4 the kgb decloration 3 kgb members and one cse member died in fair 2 vs 2 and 1 vs 1(the alst one got raped because he tried to ehal in a duel)to OPP memebrs. The loot you gained was but your own. The war you declaired in unwinnable, the forces of KGB have never and will never be able to stand up to anyone on the pacific shard because they have a weak and cowardly leader." - Jackal, OPP

The Siege Perilous Shard
As the remains of the old Abyss crumble into dust, a new land takes its place. It is called *Siege Perilous* and is designed with the veteran player in mind. This advanced shard will be a very different place from the other shards. Of note, you will find that magic works a bit differently and the penalties for committing crimes are not quite as harsh. While one may be tempted to take advantage of these softer penalties for misdeeds, those of tempered spirit will often be more successful in this land. What makes Siege Perilous unique among the other shards is listed below and those wishing to travel to this challenging place are advised to read carefully.

Your Character
There will be only one character slot available per account. The advancement gates, once a feature of Abyss, will not be present. Character advancement must be made by traditional methods.

Townsfolk
The shopkeepers on Siege Perilous hoard their gold greedily and will not buy items from players. They are, however, more than happy to sell their wares at three times the cost of other shards! Townspeople requesting escort will not have any items on their persons and the only way they will part with their gold is if you actually bring them to their desired location. Considering these differences and the ones noted under "Your Character", it would be very wise to befriend, rather than to attack, your local tradesmen. A skilled blacksmith or miner can be a very powerful ally.

Magic
Spellcasters adventuring in Siege Perilous should be wary of the changes to their trade. Most noticeably, the spell "recall" will not function. However, for those involved in faction or guild wars, it is vitally important to note that direct damage spells will work in towns.

Breaking the Law
The biggest difference that individuals of ill repute will notice about Siege Perilous is that there is no stat-loss of any kind. However, murderers should be careful when venturing close to town, as all towns are justice regions (except for Buccaneer’s Den) and the guilds will kill murderers on sight! The shrines will no longer forgive murderers of their crimes (as they did on Abyss) and therefore, one cannot remove their murder counts by visiting a shrine. Although you must still be in the Thieves Guild to steal from players, you will not be removed from the guild for collecting a murder count, nor are there any skill or time requirements to meet before joining. The NPCs will defend themselves against thieves and will attack any thief who steals from them outside of town. Also, one cannot steal an item randomly, you must actually "snoop" a pack and select a specific item.

Skills
Bards will find some monsters are provoked less easily since the skill *provocation* will now be difficulty-based. The use of provocation will wear your instrument down, requiring that you replace it from time to time. Those adventuring in dungeons are advised to have skill in detect hidden because all chests in dungeons will be trapped. Opening a chest without detecting the trap first could have deadly results.

Factions
Each faction will no longer highlight different colors; instead, their affiliation will be above their head and factions will highlight orange to one another, just as with guilds.

While skill in the art of combat will certainly help one survive on Siege Perilous, the true path to success will be through making allies. As one cannot possibly have all of the skills necessary to obtain every resource essential to survival, setting up trade agreements with other players will often offer the best chance of prosperity. Those who shoot first and ask questions later could quickly find themselves alone and lacking in supplies.

We are targeting July 15th as the date to open the Siege Perilous Shard. However, because of the considerable differences between Siege Perilous and the other shards, during the first week of its operation Siege Perilous will be considered a Test Shard. This means that during this first week, we will be watching the shard carefully, looking for any problems associated with the changes. If, and only if we find a severe issue will we wipe the shard and restart it. If all goes as expected, the shard will be made permanent and no wipe will occur.

KGB members were on a mission to hunt Demons in Hyloth. It a heated battle several members were looted and laughed at by the infamous PHILLIES BLUNT of the RAT Guild. This well known lamer is known for his BLUE PK antics and should be helped to perish whenever possible.

a 50,000 Gold bounty had been issued for 10 Kills of this lamer incliding heads and screen shots.

Once again the impertinent Nightmare of CH dared appear on the steps of the CKGB Tower. Ever alert, Mistress Torina put forth the call to arms, within moments KGB military began to appear. Like true veterans, the warriors sallied forth and the treacherous Nightmare was hunted like the dog he is and ridden down in the desert sand.

It was not long before his fowl stench was noticed again, once more KGB rode out, surrounding the hapless knave. It was at this time that I noticed two additions to the group, however. Attempting to assist Nightmare in his efforts, I spied one King Artur, Guild Master, PP [Paladins of Power]. A murderer, whose name was something of mord..., was alongside as well.

If these so called Paladins seek to aid our enemy, perhaps it is time for them to... shall we say... be shown the error of there ways?

Here is the background info: I originally met Colin when Xlords and a few other guilds including CSE and KGB  joined up to form the original PGC. We became sorta on a friend basis, though we didn't talk much, he was pretty cool. Then one day I recieve this file from Colin, called Whackamole.exe. After re-reading the log, I realize, I walked right into it. I dont see how you can stand for Colin to be a member. Well, the ICQ log says the rest. This is what is posted at the above URL:

Here is the ICQ Log of my hacking by Colin, currently in KGB. I considered him a friend at the time, since we had known each other for quite a while. So I trusted him. That was my mistake. The only edited part is me recieving the file and me inserting Cara Vitalle's last name and guild (and maybe one or two notes with *'s around them). Colin claims she hasn't been around for 4 months, though 2 months ago, she authorized me onto her ICQ list as well as requesting my auth. You will see All of Colin&#8217;s loopholes. For there are many.

This Conversation, on the otherhand, DID happen.  There was a bug posted on "xsploitz" (www.xsplotiz.com) Where if you could crash your character, inside a insta log zone with, you would warp back.  A possible "dupe".

Ah, the famed Valorite ingots/plate.  as I stated above, drake and I were out hunting when we saw two male chars wearing GM made Valorite plate! Back in my FL days, this was GOLD! We quickly ended their lives and took the plate.  InFACT! I still have the plate today.  Aeon if you still want to see it, come to the bank! I would be MORE than happy to end this.  More importantly, the Ingots.  When we were looted the suits of valo, Drake also noticed one had a key, I quickly looked on the other, and he had a rune...HMM..So I quickly gated ourselves there, what luck! a HOUSE! and KEY! So we went in, the house was actually a "mining" house on decite.  We agreed that If I kept the plate, Drake got the ingots, so be it, fair deal.  Soon after this I got a message from Drake stating he could not sell the ingots, so I told him I would, for a small commission.Well I couldnt find a buy, so Khellandros had to find one for me, End of Story.

I would like to state, I, nor any CSE for that matter have had contact with Cara for months.  She recently had some domestic things to settle before comming back, which she chose not to, and instead went to EQ with Milamber I even Called OSI and asked to be checked to see if I had logged into any accounts other than mine.  I recieved an email from GM Nighthawk of OSI support.

There you have it, living proof I didnt hack his account, Well as Aeon would say, I could have edited where I hacked his account, which is true, but then he could have also editied his so called ICQ "logs", which I believe he did.   In either case, the only person who can decide you is, nobody should be
able to make up your mind for you, or you for them.  Anybody who believes him, is just as bad as he is, and I have NO respect for you.

At the end of his post, he pleds that someone take action, well I will.  I am so sick and tired of this bullshit.  I have endured enough in my time, I dont need this on my shoulders also.  Those of you that know me either think two things: 1, Im not SMART enough to hack someone in the manner stated above or TWO, Me being in UO for so long would not want to risk it.  In either case, Im sick and tired of it.  I wrote this to put a seal on something that has been bothering me for along time.  I have informed Aeon that if he wishes to continue with this Obious slandering of my name, I will seek legal action.  It has really pushed me THIS far.  I dont know who I can trust anymore, I dont want to be remebered as some simple minded fool who let someone destroy all he had worked for.  My name stands for something Aeon, and you have destroyed it.  This is the LAST, VERY LAST comment I will make on this subject.  I will not respond to childish ICQs starting with, You There whore? I wont respond to your emails, UO spamming.  This will be the time I respond to this subject.

VERDICT BY ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE OF THE KGB SUPREME COURT

Hacking ones account is a serious offense that crosses the line of Real Life violations of federal law. KGB in no way supports or condones this type of behavior. Any member found to be involved in this type of action would be immediatly and permaniently expelled from the Knight of Glory and Beer organization.

After reviewing the information provided by both sides I have come to the following verdict.

Sir Colin of the KGB, who holds the rank of Knight is hereby found INNOCENT of the three charges due to lack of evidence. Information provided by the defense from OSI supports this decision.

This matter will be officially dropped at this time and Sir Colin may resume his duties and privledges of lifetime KGB membership.

For over a month now our noble warriors of KGB have been seeking out to destroy other evils of Sosaria. Almost every evening our group has been gathering together at the CKGB General Store to being their new quests of peril and Treasure! It has been a marvelous sight to see indeed!

Once everyone piles out of the gate they set off in search of the sacred spot that holds their rich booty! Every strike of the shovel brings on a foreboding aura of dread. *crunch crunch* ORC LORDS, DREAD SPIDERS, and LICHES are the first to greet the KGB! Before the travelers can even lay hold of their fine chest of wonders a few of them fall to the spawning evil that surrounds them. After the dust settles they return their attentions to what has emerged from the cold ground beneath them. Of course the slowest of them is put to the test of removing further dangers that may lay inside of the unearthed box. *creek* Behold, treasures that could randsom a king! ~you are dead~ Yet not without a price!

After filling their sacks with all they could carry they return home, praising each other for their gallant performance of swordsmanship and magic. Each gathers around while the distribution of items begins with beer in hand. Tired, not quite sober, and satisfied with their loot they bid goodnight to their tired brothers and prepare again for their next excursion...
