The SR71 arrived just after noon. She made several low speed passes, and a high altitude high speed pass. First time I experienced a sonic boom at an airshow. This was a once in a lifetime experience for me!

The Air Force no longer flys this beautiful airplane!

971 makes a beautiful low speed pass for all to see!

After 971 landed, lots of guys in black "Lockheed/Martin Skunkworks" jumpsuits started working on the SR71. The two Air Force officers on the left are SR71 RSOs.

After she landed, 971 pulls in to waiting maintenance people. In this picture she is still moving. You can see her two open canopies. You can tell from the photo that I wasn't the only one enamored with her beauty and reputation!
